The Tiger Wood Katana from Shikoto is a masterpiece of earthy and natural simplicity with its rich tigerwood handle and scabbard. The handsome, full-tang katana has blade hand-forged from T10 carbon steel and the brass habaki, that it extends from, has kanji. The rich wooden handle scales are made of tigerwood that’s attached to the tang with large brass pins to match the tsuba, which is iron with gold-gilded swords. The matching tigerwood scabbard also has gold accents and brown cotton cord-wrapping.
